Our clients discovered us through our social media pages and reached out with a strong passion for mid-century design and a keen eye for detail. They provided us with a hand-drawn sketch and a collection of mood images to convey their vision for their bedroom renovation. Inspired by their ideas, we worked closely with them to bring their dream space to life, blending style and functionality. Their vision included vertical slatted wall panelling that would flow seamlessly into a plinthless, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, creating a sleek, cohesive look that aligned perfectly with their mid-century aesthetic.
After successfully completing the first phase of the project, our clients entrusted us with phases 2 and 3, which included the dining/living area, staircase renovation, and kitchen overhaul. Staying true to the established design theme, the dining and living spaces featured the same bespoke vertical wall paneling, which incorporated a jib door that seamlessly connected to the bedroom. For the kitchen, the clients chose a sophisticated grey cabinet interior, with dovetailed solid oak drawer boxes and a sleek, handleless door design. The doors were finished with a straight-grained European oak veneer, which we carefully bookmatched, stitched, and pressed ourselves. The space was completed with a handcrafted solid oak staircase, all made in our Daybrook workshop.
